The Wooden Horse background

The Wooden Horse

In Nazi-occupied Germany, three British prisoners of war embark on a perilous journey to freedom, pushing their physical and emotional limits to the brink.

Three British officers, including one who conceived a plan to dig an escape tunnel, successfully escape a POW camp by using a vaulting horse as a cover. They aim to reach neutral Sweden, requiring them to evade detection and find a willing helper from a neutral or occupied country.
