Victor Arnet, a lonely accountant, has been stuck in a mundane routine for 10 years. When the building's owner, Mr. M, moves to the top floor, Victor's plans to resign are put on hold. As the plumbing system fails, a young plumber, Eve, is tasked with fixing it. Victor forms unexpected bonds with Eve and Mr. M, and his life begins to take a strange turn.
