Jesus Bar-Joseph, 7, lives in Alexandria, Egypt, with his family, who fled to escape King Herod's massacre of children. Jesus senses his parents, Joseph and Mary, are hiding secrets about his birth and extraordinary traits. Despite this, they believe him too young to understand the truth about his miraculous birth and purpose. As they prepare to return to Nazareth, they are unaware that Herod's son, driven by a desire for revenge, is also seeking to kill Jesus.
