In this movie, two friends, Joan and Patricia, spend their days attending to the whims of Hollywood stars, including Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon. Meanwhile, Joan becomes obsessed with improving her parents' marriage, fueled by incorrect information from a meddling governess. She even hires a strongman, Dr. Hercules, to win her mother's attention and make her father jealous, despite wise counsel from Walter Pidgeon.
