In the Australian outback, a legendary creature, the Pilliga Yowie, also known as Jingra, has been terrorizing the remote area of New South Wales for centuries. When a group of friends, including truck driver Jay and his cameraman buddy Dylan, venture into the Pilliga National Park, they unwittingly awaken the beast.
