Thoroughbreds Don't Cry background

Thoroughbreds Don't Cry

A young jockey's life is transformed when he gets caught up with a group of clever gamblers, forming an unlikely bond with a British teenager and his exceptional horse, as well as catching the eye of the charming niece of a boarding house owner who caters to jockeys.

A hopeful actress, Cricket West, and her eccentric aunt host a group of local jockeys, led by the skilled and arrogant Timmie Donovan. When a young English gentleman arrives, convincing Donovan to ride his horse in a high-stakes race, the story takes off. After Donovan is disqualified, Cricket takes charge and rides to victory.
