In Paris, Mona Dessaint, a prisoner, is released to work at a Gare du Nord coffee shop. She must return to prison on schedule, submitting to breathalyzer tests. Clément, a shy admirer, finds her job and harasses her, prompting Mona to ask him to leave. Clément enlists his womanizing friend Abel to help him win Mona's heart, and they kidnap her from a train. Without funds for a taxi, Mona spends the night with the duo, putting their friendship to the test.
