Roy Rogers returns to his hometown with his horse Trigger, only to find his friend Tom Craig murdered. He teams up with Gabby Whittaker to investigate and meet Helen Williams, a new singer at the Trading Post club, who is searching for a stolen family crest. As they search for the crest, they are targeted by Arthur Courtney's henchmen, leading to a series of action-packed events and a showdown with the villains.
