Roy, the ranch foreman, deliberately directs the new owner Dorothy Bryant and her friends to a dilapidated ranch, Gabby's, in the hopes they'll be deterred and return home. However, his scheme goes awry when Dorothy, deeming her newly acquired ranch worthless, sells the actual property at a significantly lower value.
