In February 2000, Robert Stewart, a violent racist, was incarcerated at Feltham Young Offenders Institute alongside Zahid Mubarek, a young Asian man scheduled for release in six weeks after being convicted of minor theft. During their time together, Stewart's racist beliefs and violent tendencies intensified, fueled by the institution's indifference. Just before Mubarek's release, Stewart brutally murdered him in an unprovoked attack.
