Wild Is the Wind background

Wild Is the Wind

A Nevada rancher's second marriage to an Italian woman falters due to his neglect, causing her to find comfort in the arms of his loyal assistant.

A successful Italian immigrant, Gino Micelli, built a thriving sheep farm in northern Nevada with his brother and long-time hand, Bene. He plans to pass it down to Bene, who he treats like a son, and has always envisioned him marrying his daughter Angie. However, Bene and Angie never expressed romantic feelings for each other. Gino decides to marry Rosanna's sister, Gioia, from Italy, without meeting her first. Despite their efforts, their marriage faces obstacles as Gino struggles to accept Gioia as an individual, not just the spirit of his late wife. Meanwhile, Bene develops feelings for Gioia, but knows it's impossible due to their complicated relationships.
