A successful business owner's obsessive quest for wealth and luxury ends in a painful realization of the value of genuine connections and relationships.

A ruthless war profiteer produces defective planes, earning them the nickname "Tullock Coffins." A pilot, blinded in a crash, vows to avenge the millionaire, but instead feigns his own death. The profiteer, using a fake name, secretly marries the pilot's girlfriend, unaware of her past connection to the pilot.
