A young director, Marko, finds success making films with a porn director, Cane, but later starts his own cabaret club featuring socio-political shows. He gathers a diverse group of performers, including a gay couple, a transvestite, and junkies. After a premiere is disrupted by a policeman and the press, Marko decides to take his crew on a tour of Serbia. Along the way, they meet a German journalist who suggests they make films featuring authentic scenes of sex and violence, using volunteers who don't care about their lives. This leads to a series of conflicts with rural viewers.
