On the planet of Discworld, a joyful holiday called Hogwatch is underway, where the Hogfather brings gifts to children everywhere. However, a dark plot by the Guild of Assassins, hired by the mysterious Auditors, seeks to eliminate the Hogfather, forcing Death to take on the role of gift-giver.

The Discworld is thrown into chaos when Hogswatch, a holiday similar to Christmas, arrives without the Hogfather. In his absence, Death takes it upon himself to investigate the Hogfather's disappearance.
