In AD 2225, Kouji Aiba and Aoi Housen are astronaut trainees on Liebe Delta, a space station on the edge of the Geduld Sea. When saboteurs strike during a routine dive, the station plunges into the Geduld, a plasma field that connects planets and destroys any ship that strays too far. With all adults dead, the young astronauts must survive the treacherous journey home amidst growing tension among themselves, while the saboteurs prepare to strike again.
