A nearly indestructible superhero, The Tick, becomes the protector of "The City" after a chance encounter at a superhero convention in Reno. He teams up with Arthur, a mild-mannered accountant in a moth costume, to thwart villainous plot-makers who threaten to overwhelm the city. Along the way, they meet a quirky cast of characters, including Die Fledermaus, American Maid, the Caped Chameleon, and the Human Bullet makes a cameo appearance.
