E.J. Baxter's life is turned upside down when she's fired from her PR executive job and discovers her fiancé is cheating. She's forced to take a job in Kalispell, Montana, where she's a fish out of water. However, she finds solace in the friendly townsfolk and a connection with fly fishing guide Jason Farrar. She also clashes with local sporting goods store owner Will Albrecht, who left his former fiancée at the altar. E.J. decides to organize a fundraiser for the Search & Rescue team by creating a beefcake calendar featuring the team's men in partially nude poses. Jason and Will are among the thirteen team members, with Jason being a big supporter and Will being an opponent. As E.J. navigates the challenges of the calendar project, she may come to new realizations about her life and what she wants for the holiday season.
