As a diverse group of athletes put aside their individual motivations and animosity towards one another, they come together to pursue a shared objective.

In this film, a Moroccan immigrant named Zico moves to Iceland in pursuit of a better life. After a decade, he faces financial ruin and is forced to reevaluate his future. With a newfound sense of purpose, Zico decides to revive his amateur team, Africa United, and guide them into the 3rd division of Icelandic football. To achieve this, he recruits a diverse group of immigrant players from various countries, including Morocco, Nigeria, Colombia, Serbia, Kosovo, Gambia, and Guinea.
