Vijay Agnihotri, a wealthy and spoilt man, falls in love with air-hostess Shivani Chopra after a chance encounter. Despite his mother's approval, he's devastated when he discovers Shivani has married Ashok Chopra, a pilot. Vijay becomes obsessed with winning Shivani back, going so far as to destroy her family and have her imprisoned. When Shivani is finally released, she seeks revenge against Vijay for his wrongdoings.
