Augustus: The First Emperor

In ancient Rome, a young Augustus joins forces with his friend Agrippa to aid Julius Caesar in his battle against Pompey. Despite being outnumbered, they emerge victorious and Caesar honors Augustus with a triumphant entry into Rome. After Caesar's assassination, Augustus returns to Rome with his friends and gains the support of the people and political power. He forms an alliance with Marc Antony, who helps him defeat the conspirators, but soon becomes the lover of Egyptian queen Cleopatra. Augustus declares war on them, ultimately becoming the sole ruler of the Roman Empire. During his reign, Rome experiences peace, prosperity, and cultural flourishing, with his wife Livia serving as his trusted advisor.
