U.S. Marshal Dave Upjohn is murdered by corrupt Sheriff Mace Arnold and his deputy, Lefty Brant, in Sundown. Upjohn's son Steve vows vengeance and is left for dead in Chimney Hole, a canyon inhabited by ranchers fleeing from Arnold's gang. However, Steve discovers that the canyon dwellers are actually upstanding citizens, and together they join forces to take down Arnold and his gang.
