Menashe, a veteran of the Six Day War, struggles to cope with his battle trauma six years later. As his wife Daphna and 10-year-old son Shlomi try to understand and support him, the family's dynamics deteriorate. When Menashe is sent back to the battlefield during the Yom Kippur War, his family's already fragile state collapses.
