Following the Civil War, a Union Major spares the lives of Quantrill's Raiders, but only after forcing one of his own men to take the fall for a murder. The Major is then wrongly convicted and imprisoned, only to escape and join forces with the very raiders he once captured, targeting the corrupt detective agency that wronged him.
