Two U.S. Cavalry sergeants, Steve Hazard and Jim Ward, constantly clash over various issues. On the eve of their enlistment ending, a stagecoach is robbed of the mine payroll. The passengers include Norman Brett, a prominent mine owner, Dale Starr, who inherited a gambling palace, and Blain Cornwall, a Treasury Department agent in disguise.
