In 1968, a rock band from Wisconsin, the Squirrels, disappeared in a plane crash in the Swiss Alps. Fifty years later, their frozen bodies are found, and after being thawed, they struggle to regain their former selves. However, the IRS arrests them for owing decades of back taxes. To avoid prison, the Squirrels must prove they can pay off their debt by reuniting and performing again, but they find it difficult to regain their musical abilities.
