In the midst of a remote forest, a group of kids' car breaks down, leading them to stumble upon a seemingly idyllic summer camp from 1981. As they try to help the trapped campers, they discover that the teens are stuck in a time loop, reliving the same night when a mysterious killer terrorized the camp. The kids from the present must work together with the 1981 campers to uncover the secrets behind the curse and find a way to break the cycle, learning about their different worlds and fighting for survival.
