Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly character, makes his clerk Bob Cratchit's life miserable. After a visit from the Christmas Past spirit, he's warned that he'll be shown the error of his ways by the Spirits of Christmas Present and Future. Scrooge becomes generous and helps Dr. Frank N Stein with his experiments. He then enters a world of pantomime, meeting Cinderella and her ugly sisters, and with camp help from Buttons and the Fairy Godmother, decides to embrace the Christmas spirit. However, his newfound enthusiasm leads him to lavish affection on a passerby, resulting in his arrest by a policeman.
