Just before his arrest, Shyam hid a diamond at a nearby construction site, intending to retrieve it after his release. Two years later, he's shocked to discover the site is now police headquarters, with his gem forming part of the foundation. Shyam creates the persona of Inspector Ram and becomes the favorite of ACP Ranbir Singh, but Inspector Pande is suspicious. Ram finds time to romance Inspector Ranjita and Komal, Ranbir's daughter, while also playing Shyam. Meanwhile, Tito and Tony search for the diamond.
