A half-breed wolf pack leader, Lobo, leads his pack into the desert, terrorizing local residents. When a posse chases them, Lobo sacrifices himself to distract them, getting injured and found by a prospector. The two form a close bond, but their happiness is threatened by a claim jumper who shoots the prospector and steals his valuable Borax claim. Lobo helps the prospector's girlfriend find him, and together they overcome the claim jumper, allowing the lovers to reunite and Lobo to be reunited with his mate.
