A charismatic con artist assumes the identity of a renowned filmmaker to deceive a family and win their trust for a phony movie project.
A filmmaker, posing as Mohsen Makhmalbaf, gains the trust of a wealthy Tehran family, promising them starring roles in his next film. As the family becomes embroiled in the project, the actual individuals involved reenact the true events, followed by footage from the trial that ensued.
