In 1991, Oakland, California, a cocaine dealer named Charles Cosby's life takes a dramatic turn when he writes to Griselda Blanco, the notorious "Cocaine Godmother," while she's serving time in a nearby prison. Six months later, Cosby has become a millionaire, Blanco's lover, and the head of her lucrative cocaine empire. As "The Black Widow," Blanco will do whatever it takes to keep Cosby loyal, but he soon realizes he's in over his head.
