Curley and his Gang star in their first feature-length film, a remake of the 1930 "Our Gang" short "Teacher's Pet". The kids are worried about their new teacher, fearing she won't be as great as their beloved previous teacher who left town after getting married. When Curley mistakes the aunt of the new teacher for the new teacher, the kids try to discourage her from staying. However, their plans are foiled when they discover the new teacher is kind, young, and beautiful.
