Dali's Greatest Secret

The film tells the story of Salvador Dali's life-changing experience with "Vision of Hell", a painting he created after being commissioned to depict a religious vision seen by three children in Fatima, Portugal. During this period, Dali was obsessed with mortality and explored ways to achieve immortality, including cloning and cryonic preservation. As he worked on the painting, he rediscovered his Catholic roots and introduced more religious themes into his work, producing four times more religious art. However, he kept his renewed faith secret from his inner circle, fearing it would damage his intellectual and anti-church reputation. The film reveals an untold aspect of Dali's biography, exploring his dreams of everlasting life and his attempts to achieve it.
