A young actress, Jenny, is hit by a car while hitchhiking and is taken in by the driver, Max Ducone, until she can continue her journey. However, things take a dark turn when Ducone's wife is murdered, and Jenny sets out to uncover the truth, teaming up with detective Curtis to expose Ducone as the killer, who committed the crime to fund his prized antique collection.
