In the upcoming movie, a series of stagecoach wrecks has been plaguing Nugget Clark, prompting Federal Investigator Rocky Lane to arrive on the scene to investigate. As Rocky digs deeper, he uncovers a sinister plot involving the foreman of a nearby mine, who is secretly stealing mercury and selling it in Mexico. The foreman's ultimate goal is to drive Nugget into bankruptcy and seize his valuable ranch. But when Rocky's badge is accidentally dropped during a fierce battle, he becomes aware that the foreman is onto him, making his mission to stop the thief even more perilous.
