In the heart of the rural mid-west, a farmer and his wife live on a peaceful farm, surrounded by nature. However, as autumn approaches, a series of gruesome attacks begins to occur, starting with family pets, then wild animals, and eventually, people. The police are called in to investigate, and they soon discover that the wounds inflicted by the attacker are infected with a deadly bacteria. As the clock ticks for those infected, a Native American neighbor, Francis Wellman, claims to have found an ancient antidote. Together, they embark on a thrilling adventure to uncover the identity of the perpetrator and put an end to the horrors before it's too late.
