In the next movie, Moe, Larry, and Curly play detectives who rescue a girl from the clutches of a mad scientist. They arrive at his creepy mansion, where they discover he's building a mechanical man that requires a human head. The boys initially decline to donate their own heads for the experiment, but ultimately escape with the girl. However, their escape is short-lived as they find themselves in a car driven by the headless robot.
