Jim, a shy and withdrawn loner, and Lana, a friendly and outgoing born-again Christian, meet in an elevator that gets stuck between floors. As days turn into weeks, and weeks into months, they grow closer, but their hopes of escape dwindle. Despite the lack of food, Lana's groceries mysteriously refill every morning. As Jim gives up hope, a romance blossoms, but it's cut short when Lana begins to transform into metal.
