A group of five friends, including George, Julian, Dick, Anne, and Timmy the dog, embark on a bike ride through the legendary Cat Canyon without their parents. During a bonfire, they're regaled with the tale of the "Black Cat," a thief who allegedly hid the world's largest diamonds, the green emerald, in the canyon. As they settle in for the night, a figure emerges from the bushes - Hardy, a local who's eager to show off his phone and quad. Despite initial reservations, the group becomes fast friends with Hardy, unaware that he's being tailed by two crooks, Max and Fil.
