Two U.S. Marshals, Nevada Jack McKenzie and Sandy Hopkins, travel to a valley plagued by a violent conflict between two ranchers, Don Graham and Joe. Graham seeks to gain control of the valley by starting the war. The marshals investigate the murder of Zane Jenkins, killed by Slade Burnette, and discover evidence of Graham's involvement with town banker Chamers.
