Getting Over is a passion project of a lifetime from filmmaker Jason Charnick, who spent over a decade processing his father's final days after inheriting video tapes from his uncle. The tapes, recorded by Jason's father in 1997, feature 17 hours of interviews with his brother, a New York City artist, covering his entire life from childhood to just before his death.
