In this animated adventure, Popeye recounts to his nephews the legendary tale of Hercules, a mighty hero who derives his strength from sniffing garlic. Hercules engages in a series of intense battles with the formidable Bluto, but his powers are neutralized when Bluto discovers his secret and eliminates the garlic's effects. However, fate intervenes as Hercules is knocked into a field of spinach, discovering a new and potent source of strength that ultimately helps him triumph over his adversary.
