Two losers, Richard and Edward, run the worst hotel in the UK, Guest House Paradiso, next to a nuclear power plant. The staff is unconventional, with a chef who's an illegal immigrant and a waiter who escaped a mental-health facility. The hotel's reputation is dire, but things take a turn when a famous Italian actress checks in, hiding from her fiancé. The guests' stay is short-lived, however, as Richie and Eddie serve radioactive fish for dinner, causing chaos and illness.
