A serial killer who confessed to a series of gruesome murders is imprisoned, but the killings continue with the same characteristics. As the case is reopened, two detectives, Mi Yun and Kang, are assigned to solve the murders. Despite their differences, they work together to catch a new suspect, Huh, but the killings persist. The investigation leads to a psychiatrist, Dr. Chu, who becomes a victim herself. The prime suspect, Choi, takes his own life, but the killings continue. The case becomes increasingly complicated as the police themselves appear to be suspects, pushing everyone to the limits of human understanding.
