In a post-apocalyptic Earth ravaged by ozone depletion, a brilliant yet obsessive scientist, Hank Symes, conducts an unauthorized experiment to revive the planet using stolen biological materials. The experiment goes catastrophically wrong, metamorphosing Symes into a bizarre, otherworldly being and transforming his home into a gargantuan, sentient entity that terrorizes all who dare enter.
