In July 1969, two astronauts made history by venturing into space and becoming the first humans to step foot on another planet.

Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin are on a historic mission to land on the moon in July 1969. They're 240,000 miles from earth and facing the most hazardous space flight in history. NASA Mission Control, led by Flight Director Gene Kranz, is struggling to execute the flight plan due to communication disruptions, computer alarms, and a spacecraft overshooting the landing site. Armstrong and Aldrin must find a safe place to land, and Mission Control is urging them to do so quickly, but Armstrong is determined to use every last bit of fuel to ensure a successful landing.
