A desperate mouse on the verge of jumping off a pier is rescued by Hippety Hopper, a baby kangaroo who had been trapped in a shipping crate. As a thank you, the mouse enlists Hippety's help to prank Sylvester Cat, his tormentor. They concoct a scheme where Hippety makes Sylvester believe the mouse has grown to his size due to vitamins, leading to a comedic showdown where Sylvester gets embarrassed in front of a disapproving bulldog. The duo also playfully threatens the bulldog, causing it to start a ballet with Sylvester.
