A centuries-old curse is unleashed when a 17th-century witch returns from the dead to punish a modern-day politician, a direct descendant of the one who wronged her.

Two witches, Jennifer and her father Daniel, were burned at the stake by puritan Jonathan Wooley in 1672. Jennifer cursed the Wooley family, dooming their sons to marry the wrong woman and suffer. Centuries later, a lightning bolt frees Jennifer and her father, and Jennifer takes on a physical form to torment Wallace Wooley, an engaged politician, by making him fall in love with her.
