A 19th century London psychologist develops a revolutionary drug, using it to unlock human desires while exploring Freudian ideas with his colleague Dr. Lanyon through intense debates and experiments on his patients.

In 19th century London, psychologist Charles Marlowe develops a drug to release inhibitions, testing it on his patients. After discussing Freud's principles with friend Dr. Lanyon, Charles decides to experiment on himself, transforming into the evil Edward Blake.
