A giant, radioactive octopus, displaced from its normal habitat, wreaks havoc on San Francisco after a mysterious encounter at sea. The Navy's efforts to contain the creature, which has migrated to the Golden Gate Bridge, ultimately lead to a thrilling showdown with a submarine in the Bay area.
